DONT ENTERTAIN FEAR

It is sad that even though there are many assurances in the bible of God abiding presence, angelic presence and divine provision, too many of us still worry ourselves with many things.  Instead of affirming the promise of God for our lives, we choose to meditate on all the evil that satan could bring upon us.  How often have we missed  the blessing of God because we are so full of fear that there is no room for faith to appropriate the promise of God ?

Some of us wake up in the morning and set wheels of worry rolling.  Instead of setting our minds on the goodness of the Lord and what he can do for us, we cripple ourselves with fear and worry.  We make our burdens heavier and more unbearable with negative speculations and what ifs It is amazing the things we worry about- Will I get sick?  Will I get fired? Will I have an accident?  Will I make it home safely? what about my children, my spouse? On and on we go as we poison our souls and squeeze God out of the equations of our lives.

Just as faith will release the power of God to fulfill our desires, fear will activate the forces of evil to turn our worries to reality.  If you dwell on all the negative what ifs your worries will drive you into a state of panic.  In that state of panic, you will begin to see your fears come true. If you worry that you are going to get ill,  The worry causes your stress level to rise which in turn, brings along all kinds of physical symptoms that will eventually make you ill.

Today, make a choice to start a faith-filled life that is focused on the promise of God for your life.

HOW TO MAKE A WONDERFUL FAMILY

Family are like music, some high notes, some low notes but it always produces a beautiful song. You may not always see eye to eye but when things get tough you are still one family and should always be there for each other. Other things may change but we start and end with a family.

Despite the perfect picture some families portray there are more complexities and dynamics to families than all the smiles and laughter.

All families are different and every family has its own issues. However, with the right amount of work and determination you can make your family the best it can be by developing your relationships and learning more about yourself and members of your family.

No one family life is perfect but you can make yours a great one. It is important to understand your family well to avoid the unnecessary squabbles and petty fights.  Make it an important point to be with your family whenever you can and get to know them better by developing the relationship further.  A lot of families now do not spend enough time to know each other too well and the excuse is that they are too busy.

Plan some family time together like watching movies or playing a family game or something as little as eating together. No one wants to be ignored just for some meeting or work. Spend some quality time with every member of your family by having your won special time and I believe you will have a happy family.

BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE

Sometimes life can be like running in a race.  There may be obstacles to avoid, and hurdles to clear.  It can be either exhausting, painful or thrilling.  It can be a long and lonely experience like a cross country marathon, or it can be an exciting team experience like a relay race, but whatever situation it may be try to be the best you can be.

The  time to begin is now, the race before you is sure to be a challenging one.  But GOD has promised to be with you every step of the way and truly desires you to be the best you can be.

It is easy to dwell on what is wrong, it is far more useful though to focus on how things can be better. So start from today and you will never regret you did.

Far better to dare mighty things to glorious triumphs even though checked by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in that gray twilight that suffers not victory nor defeat.

LEAD BY EXAMPLE

Great leaders are honest, focused, passionate, respectable, confident and compassionate. A good leader walks the talk and in doing so earns the trust and respect of  their followers. Leaders inspire confidence in others in doing so draws out the best efforts of the team to complete the task well.

There must not be any contradiction between what you say and what you do, if you do so you cannot inspire others to follow you.A leader also needs to function in an orderly manner so that it will put their followers or workers in order,  in so doing there will no confusion among them.

A leader must be bold and stable so that when problems come which brings uncertainty he will be able to reassure them of their safety.  A good  leader must be committed to excellence.
